Noosa’s Deputy Mayor has moved into the top job..
The electoral Commission declaring Frank Wilkie as Mayor after he received 40 per cent of the votes.
That’s nearly 5,800 votes ahead of second placed Ingrid Jackson – who finished the race with 23%.

It’s a close contest for councillor positions.
Amelia Lorentson leads Jess Phillips, Nicola Wilson, Brian Stockwell, Tom Wegener and Karen Finzel for the six positions.
