Queensland Garden Expo 2019

Queensland Garden Expo is a ‘must see’ in 2019 for green thumbs and novice gardeners alike. Held in the Sunshine Coast hinterland town of Nambour from 12th to 14th July, this three-day expo is Queensland’s premier gardening event attracting 40,000 + visitors from all over Australia and New Zealand. Some of Australia’s leading Gardening experts take part in three days of lectures, demonstrations, and workshops.

Parking

Parking is available within the Showgrounds for $7 per car per day. Access to this is at 8am. Parking in this area is limited and not available to purchase online. (all proceeds from parking fees is donated to local service and community groups.)

There is also parking available at the Nambour Bowls Club and Nambour State College adjacent to the Showgrounds. Cost is $5 per day with all proceeds going to the operators.

Parking is also available at the rear of the Uniting Church off Donaldson Road.

NEW THIS YEAR – FRIDAY ONLY

Additional parking will be available at Nambour State College off Carroll Street. Cost is $5 per day, per car. The FREE shuttle bus to the Showgrounds will pick up and drop off from here.

Please note: Parking in some of these areas is subject to weather conditions or similar.

Disability Access

The showground offers excellent facilities for wheelchair visitors with on-site disabled parking, easy access and ground level exhibits along with disabled toilet facilities. Guide dogs are welcome.

Dogs Policy

While we understand that pets are an important part of your garden for the safety and amenity of all our visitors we have a strict no dogs policy at the event.
