DreamWorks animation reveals first official trailer for criminal animation comedy ‘The Bad Guys’
The first official trailer for DreamWorks Animation’s new heist movie ‘The Bad Guys’ has dropped and it looks like it’s going to give plenty of laughs.
Based on the Australian children’s book series by author Aaron Blabey, the animated film will follow a rag-tag crew of – dare we say it – bad guys, made up of Mr. Wolf (Sam Rockwell), Mr. Snake (Marc Maron), Mr. Shark (Craig Robinson), Mr. Piranha (Anthony Ramos) and Ms. Tarantula (Awkwafina), who decide they need to fool the world into thinking they’re transforming into good guys as part of a master plan to avoid being thrown into prison.
Directed by Pierre Perifel (Kung Fu Panda), ‘The Bad Guys’ will feature a distinctive animation style where the 3D characters will display 2D characteristics – a similar approach to the animation seen in ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ – which will certainly stand out.
The star-studded voice-over line-up will also include Richard Ayoade, Zazie Beetz, Lilly Singh, and Alex Borstein.
