Some Stranger Things Episodes Are Longer Than Movies

Netflix says the upcoming fourth season of “Stranger Things” is going to be supersized and it’s not just referring to the special effects or memorable moments with the cast and story, it’s the size of the episodes themselves.

The fourth season is looking at each episode running over an hour and some episodes being longer than movies.

EPISODE 1: 1hr 16min
EPISODE 2: 1hr 15min
EPISODE 3: 1hr 3min
EPISODE 4: 1hr 17 min
EPISODE 5: 1hr 14min
EPISODE 6: 1hr 13min
EPISODE 7: 1hr 38min
EPISODE 8: 1hr 25min
EPISODE 9: 2hr 30min

Compared to recent Netflix Movie runtimes “The Adam Project” was 1hr 46min, “A Perfect Pairing” 1hr 42min and the new Rebel Wilson flick “Senior Year” 1hr 53min.

The first volume of Stranger Things Season 4 drops on Friday, May 27th consisting of episodes 1-7.

Volume Two of the season which will conclude the series with episodes 8-9, hits July 1st.
