Bikes, boats, bodybuilders for Arnie visit
In true Terminator fashion, Arnold Schwarzenegger has spent his time in Sydney surrounded by police and cruising the rough harbour seas.
"We're cruising around the Sydney harbour, having a good time," Schwarzenegger said in a video posted to Snapchat on Monday.
He has also been photographed riding a bike without a helmet despite a similar incident in Melbourne two years ago when Victoria Police suggested he should purchase one.
The former California governor and Hollywood star is in Sydney as guest speaker at the Total Success Summit at The Star casino, following three days in Melbourne for the annual Arnold Classic multi-sport festival and bodybuilding competition.
The 69-year-old on Tuesday visited the PCYC South Sydney, meeting with NSW police officers and local children before touring the centre's facilities including the gym.
Over the past six months, his long-time friends Paul and Carole Graham - Australia's International Federation of Bodybuilding representatives - have donated cash and equipment to the Redfern centre.
The Grahams figured Schwarzenegger could now help encourage local kids to use the gym.
"Sometimes these children, in the circumstances they're in, don't get the opportunity to meet people like Arnold," Carole Graham told AAP on Tuesday.
"I could see how delighted he was to be there today, to just hang out for a few minutes and to encourage them to use the things there for them."
Ms Graham did not disclose how much they've donated because "giving is something you should do discreetly".
She said Schwarzenegger didn't ask for anything in return "he was just there to give the whole place a general boost".
The Austrian-American is due to fly out of Australia on Tuesday night.
