Norovirus Outbreak At Redcliffe Hospital
Redcliffe Hospital staff have quarantined at least two wards, following an outbreak of norovirus affecting dozens of patients.
Visitor access has been restricted as the hospital deals with dozens of patients who have fallen ill.
News Corp reports wards affected include the Rehabilitation Unit and Level 5 East.
Norovirus is a very contagious virus that causes vomiting and diarrhoea.
You can get norovirus from:
- Having direct contact with an infected person
- Consuming contaminated food or water
- Touching contaminated surfaces then putting your unwashed hands in your mouth
