Police Sergeant Stood Down
A Police Sergeant has been stood down in the Central Region, which takes in the Sunshine Coast.
A 41-year-old male Sergeant has been stood down from the Queensland Police Service.
The officer has been stood down from official duty in relation to off-duty conduct and will be tasked to perform non-operational duties.
The Police Service said "in keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct. This does not mean that the allegations against the officer have been substantiated".
