The Sunshine Coast's first Barre and Beat-Based Cycling studio is set to open its doors on election day, Saturday 18th May, with a morning of free classes.
Based on Plaza Parade in the heart of Maroochydore, Barre & Bike is stirring up the fitness scene with its unique dance-based workouts.
Barre is a low impact, high intensity workout combining Ballet conditioning with Yoga flows and Pilates.
Beat-Based Cycling is all about getting the heart rate up; it's a dance party on a bike.
The two workouts are the complete opposite of each other; strength vs cardio.
Barre & Bike Owner and Instructor, Elisha Dyck said the two workouts compliment each other perfectly.
"Barre is the Yin to Bike's Yang. Together, they're the perfect recipe for weight loss and toning. Separately, they appeal to different people with different fitness or personal goals," said Elisha.
"We're excited to bring the Sunshine Coast something new in the fitness space. We're not your average gym, pilates studio or functional training centre - we're all about making working out fun," she added.
With five metre high ceilings, two workout rooms (Barre Room & Bike Room), high-end reception area and large mezzanine floor - this luxury studio is like no other on the Coast; providing a sanctuary for guests and an escape from the ins and outs of everyday life.
The regular timetable commences from Monday May 20th, with 30 classes per week, each of which can accommodate up to 20 guests.
