Eight Sunshine Coast Businesses Damaged By Fire
Eight Sunshine Coast business have reportedly been damaged after fire ripped through on Friday morning.
Emergency crews arrived at Trinder Avenue at Maroochydore just after 2:00AM.
A house is believed to have been evacuated as a precaution as crews desperately tried to prevent the flames from spreading.
The blaze took several hours to bring under control. Crews labelled it officially under control at 6:40AM.
A TV store is one of the businesses believed to have caught alight.
The QFES wasn't able to say just how severe the damage to the buildings was but said they have 12 teams of firefighters at the scene still.
Fire Investigators will head to the scene on Friday to figure out the cause.
