Boy Crushed By Tree During Storm Clean-Up
FINAL UPDATE | The boy has been airlifted to the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in a critical condition after a tree fell on him during the storm clean-up near Kingaroy.
He suffered injuries from head to toe and was collected by RACQ LifeFlight.
EARLIER | A boy's been crushed by a tree, while helping with the storm clean-up near Kingaroy.
The accident happened near Coolabunia on Friday morning.
The primary school aged child suffered multiple serious injuries from head to toe, including head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis & lower limbs.
He is in a critical condition.
The rescue helicopter has now arrived to take him to Hospital.
The Queensland Ambulance Service said bystanders used 4WDs to lift the tree off the boy.
It is not clear which hospital he will be airlifted to.
