The Sunshine Coast is in for a second heatwave.
Forecasters are predicting temperatures to reach 30 degrees over the next week, due to a high-pressure system moving in over the state.
Wednesday and Thursday will be the warmest.
Weather Bureau forecaster James Thompson says the temperature difference will be very noticeable:
"About 7 or 8 degrees above average, definitely very warm, people will feel that," James says.
