Police confirm body of Luke Woods found at Mudjimba
The body of Pacific Paradise man Luke Woods has been found on Mudjimba Beach.
A Queensland Police spokesperson says the 38-year-old’s body was found on Saturday, July 30.
There was a two-day search for Mr Woods after he went missing on Wednesday, July 27.
He was last seen leaving a Namba Street address and was believed to have visited Mudjimba Beach near access point 132 where some of his personal belongings were found on the sand.
When he failed to return home, the alarm was raised, and multiple surface and land searches were conducted with SES crews and Surf Life Saving volunteers on quad bikes and jet skis.
Water police vessels and drones were also used.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
