Kenilworth Bakery launches new Mooloolaba store with free donuts
Mooloolaba Wharf will be a little busier from tomorrow as Kenilworth Bakery launches its second Sunshine Coast store.
And to sweeten the deal and lure more people to the grand opening, the store is offering its delectable donuts for free ((one per person)) from 10am until stocks last.
Kenilworth Bakery is renowned for its range of donuts, pies and famous 1kg sausage roll and 1kg donut with foodies travelling from afar to sample its wares.
Owner Jenna Sanders says she is thrilled to be opening her second local bakery in the heart of Mooloolaba.
“We are really looking forward to opening up on Friday, we have lots of donuts to give away so we are expecting a big crowd to come along and enjoy a donut as well as all of our other savoury and sweet treats,” she says.
“We are a family-owned business and over the past four years we have invested heavily in all aspects of the business to ensure our customers' expectations are exceeded when they visit either our Kenilworth or our new outlet at The Wharf.
“Our family connection has also been strengthened with my brother Nathan recently coming into the business to help from an operations and administration point of view so it’s a really exciting time for our family and our business.”
Karen Hugg is the general manager of The Wharf Mooloolaba store and says interest from the general public and other tenants is strong following the announcement of the bakery’s new location late last year.
“Kenilworth Bakery is the first tenant in our recently established The Alley precinct at The Wharf and we will be making further announcements on some exciting new dining options soon,” she says.
