Dramatic vision of teen arrested on Bruce Highway over stolen cars
Police have released dramatic vision of the moment a teenager was arrested on the Bruce Highway on the Sunshine Coast, following a dramatic chase in an alleged stolen car.
Detectives say three cars, an Audi, BMW and Volkswagen, were stolen from Noosa homes between 11pm and 2am, on Sunday.
Three teenagers facing a string of charges over the incident have been denied bail after appearing in the Maroochydore Children's Court.
Tyre stingers stopped the Audi near the highway at the Caloundra Interchange, where Two of the 17-year-old boys - from Kingston and Logan Central - were arrested by police.
A 16-year-old Albany Creek boy, the alleged driver of the Volkswagen, was arrested after stingers stopped the car, just south of the Red Road intersection.
Another driver and the white BMW - with Victorian registration AOG364 - are still missing.
The vehicle was last see heading south on the Bruce Highway, at Caboolture.
