Mixed News in Coast's building industry
Queensland's regional dwelling approvals for July have delivered mixed news for the state’s building industry.
Latest figures show new houses are up 17.2 per cent over the month but regional numbers painted a varied picture.
Master Builders Deputy CEO Paul Bidwell said builders are busy on the Sunshine Coast but the home builder grant had not translated into the number of new home approvals yet.
"Sunshine Coast had a flat month, recording no change for the month of July," he said.
Mr. Bidwell added that August was expected to be a bumper month on the Coast with home approvals tipped to spike.
