Two new Covid cases in Queensland
UPDATE | Queensland Health is still working to determine if a Thai restaurant is one of the venues shut down in Ipswich.
Contact tracing is underway in south-east Queensland after two teenagers tested positive to COVID-19.
The two women, aged 19, are accused of lying on their border declaration passes to get into Queensland.
One of the women, a cleaner, worked at a private school in Logan.
Health Minister Stephen Miles said the two women arrived from Melbourne via Sydney eight days ago.
The two new cases are the first of Covid-19 in Queensland, outside of hotel quarantine since May.
The women returned from Melbourne, via Sydney, on flights VA863 and VA977, on July 21.
