Police have charged a 50 year-old man over an alleged stabbing at Caboolture South on Saturday night.
It’s alleged around 8.30pm a 40-year-old man was walking along the footpath on Dickson Road when the 50 year-old pulled up in a car and a fight started between the pair.
The younger man sustained a serious stab wound to his abdomen.
It’s alleged the 50 year-old man left the scene and was arrested a short time later at a house in Elimbah.
Police said the men knew each other.
The 40 year-old was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The Elimbah man has been charged with wounding in a public place and driving under the influence of alcohol.
He is expected to appear before the Caboolture Magistrates Court today.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or may have relevant dashcam/CCTV vision of the area to come forward.
