Lucky escape for bus crash passengers

Passengers on a Greyhound bus that crashed on the Bruce Highway north of Gympie early this morning have had a lucky escape.

There were 20 passengers on the bus when it crashed off the highway into a ditch at high speed near Gunalda around 2.40am

Three people received minor injuries and were taken to Gympie Hospital.

A man in his 20s has an ankle injury, a man in his 40s has minor glass lacerations and a woman in her 20s had chest pain.

Police investigations are continuing.
