A dog that attacked and hospitalised four people at Morayfield has been surrendered to council by its owners.
A 31 year-old man was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with significant arm injuries after the attack on Grothe Street around 11.30am yesterday.
A woman in her 40s was taken to Caboolture Hospital with puncture wounds and abrasions while a man and woman, both in their 20s, also went to Caboolture Hospital with abrasions.
The Moreton Bay Council says it has a zero tolerance approach to dangerous dogs and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross wasn’t known to them as a dangerous animal.
The Council is investigating.
