D'Aguilar National Park

Another weekend, another beautiful bit of paradise to explore near the Sunshine Coast!

I drove to the Mount Mee region of D'Aguilar National Park and went on one of their walks, then down to Mount Glorious for another.

The wildlife was plentiful and the scenery so lush! The small walks you could happily take your kids on as well.

If you want to enjoy a beautiful mostly flat walk through lush subtropical rainforests then this is for you. I am told there are more than 800 plant species found within the park's forests and some of those are rare and threatened. I saw plenty of beautiful fauna too. The park is pretty big and divided into sections so it is definitely one of those places you cannot do all of in one day but once you get the taste of what it has to offer you'll be keen to return and see it all!
