Emily Rink is an alt Indie Electronic and Acoustic Artist who blends modern tones and heartfelt experience into tasteful tunes.
This talented Artists’ unique tone, and instantly recognisable voice has been heard by many across Australia. Emily’s taste and passion shine through her music and coupled with her lyricism will leave you wanting and needing more.
She had a late start to her music career, although music has always been a big part of Emily’s life, it became her saviour in a way when she suffered a major horse-riding injury at eighteen. Through this time of recovery, she turned to music, at nineteen, went to JMC Academy and very quickly her life was completely consumed by some form of music, whether it be writing, listening, practising, or attending live shows.
Over the last few years, she has written and recorded with some of Australia’s top producers including Andy Mak, Jordan Power, and Christian Patey. Emily’s long list of live and successful gigs is a testament to her artistry and following, she has played at some of Brisbane’s favourite venues including Felons, The Triffid and not to mention her successful Single Launch in June 2022 at The Blackbear Lodge.
Her next chapter involves the exciting release of her new song, I Like You on the 26th of July, produced by Andy Mak, coupled with a single launch on August 5th at the Valley Loft in Brisbane! She has never been more excited for the world to hear this banger! She is inspired by artists; Vera Blue, Lana Del Rey, Florence and the Machine and Jack River.
