Aspy Jones Performs Mark Ronson ft Amy Winehouse

Meet Aspy Jones, a 25-year-old songwriter hailing from regional Queensland, who is not only making waves with his unique sound, but also breaking barriers and advocating for more inclusion of disability within the music industry.

With a quirky sense of humour and a keen eye for unusual detail, Aspy’s songs reflect his personal journey of living with autism and anxiety, as well as his outlook on life and good mental health. Together with his sister Jaimie and brother Saul, Aspy has been captivating audiences around Southeast Queensland with his eclectic genre mix of indie-folk/roots/pop sounds.

Fresh out of the studio after recording with ARIA award-winning producer Paulie Bromley and Steve Summers at the amazing Yama-Nui Studio in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, Aspy is set to release his new music throughout 2023. He’s no stranger to the music scene, having won several competitions including the Battle of the Rising Stars at the Noosa Surf Club, the AICM Band Showdown with the Gympie Music Muster, and the Talent Search at the Rockhampton River Festival.

Aspy and his lively family band have also supported big names such as The Fabulous Caprettos, Dean Ray, and Taylor Henderson, and have entertained crowds at popular events including Woodford Folk Festival, Caloundra Music Festival, Gympie Music Muster, Mitchell Creek Rock and Blues Fest, and many more.
