Steve’s Bio
Hi, I’m Bachelor #2, but you can call me Steve. I enjoy strolls on the beach under a moonlit sky, dining on exquisite cuisine at the poshest of restaurants and listening to classical jazz while sipping on a glass of the finest Pinot…
You know what? That’s a downright lie. In fact I’d much prefer to simply get some Indian takeaway, then go test the skills on Mario Kart Wii or rearrange my action figure collection and listen to Steve Jablonsky’s orchestral soundtracks from the two live-action ‘Transformers’ movies. You want to know why?
Because I’m a geek.
Sure I’m smarter than a 5th Grader but it has yet to be proven if I can take one in a fight.
What makes this remarkably attractive specimen displayed before you a geek, or what else did you want to know about me? I’m glad you asked.
- I love Transformers. Wait, let me rephrase that. I’m obsessed with Transformers. Action figure collection so large it requires being added to my home and contents insurance? Check.
- I collect comic books and graphic novels, so many so that in the past few months I have broken three different bookcase shelves from the sheer weight of my collection. You name it I’ll read it, but my preferences are ‘X-Men’ and ‘Spider-Man’
- Video games take up a large portion of my free time. Nintendo Wii has become a lifestyle rather than a pastime, and I will gladly sit down and debate the merits of catching all 493 Pokemon with anyone who argues otherwise.
- Superhero movies are my forte and I own nearly every one on DVD, and it does not matter if the film is terrible, I still have a compulsion to buy it as I am a completes.
- I attended Supanova 2007 in Brisbane dressed as Krang from the original ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ cartoon.
- I auditioned for Australia’s ‘Beauty and the Geek’ though was rejected after the third stage of auditions. Apparently I’m not socially awkward enough. Still trying to determine whether that was a good or bad thing.
I’m looking for love ladies… and preferably someone who knows the difference between Decepticons and Autobots.
